Essential Details For Beautiful Wedding Flat-Lays
When planning your wedding, the small details are crucial. You've invested time and money in selecting items like invitations, your wedding gown, veil, shoes, perfume, rings, jewelry, vows, and other meaningful heirlooms. As photographers, we ensure these precious items are captured.
Since detail shots are taken first, having your items ready will help us capture beautiful images seamlessly. Consider asking someone, like your Maid of Honor, to gather everything in a box for easy access. Making sure the rings are clean and the bouquet arrives on time would be great. Flowers always add such a special touch, so we're thrilled when your florist can provide a few extra blooms for us to use!
Plan a list of important items for detail shots:
- Your rings (including wedding bands!)
- Ring box(es)
- Dress and a pretty hanger, veil if applicable
- Any jewelry, like hairpieces, earrings, bracelets, family heirlooms, etc.
- His and her shoes
- Cuff Links
- Tie or Bow Tie
- Pocket Square
- Boutonnière
- Perfume/Cologne
- Vow books
- Invitation Suite (Two full sets with envelopes and stamps!)
- Any other paper stationery you may have such as program cards, Save The Dates, etc.
- I’d love to have a few cuts of the florals you’ll be using throughout your wedding day. If your florist will supply me with a few extra pieces and flowers, I can incorporate those in your detail shots.
- Any other sentimental keepsakes you would like to include
